My mold and commercial molds. Hate how this glaze broke, but a lovely green.

This is the biggest bowl I have ever made. It’s 10 inches wide (on the inside). On the outside I put a potluck glaze that we added wood ash to (it is food safe as far as the lemon test told us). I love this glaze. It looks better on our old claybody (pottery supply house brand, don’t know the mix at the moment) compared to our new one (‘Mid White’ from Tuckers).
It’s still a pretty awesome colour, it fits alright on this body, but fits perfectly on the PSH clay.
The glaze on the inside is white that I drizzled on the outside when I poured it out.

Goblets that I made a while ago which. I actually dropped the one on the left and the stem broke off. They were inspired by a blown glass piece I was looking at, but the results I had did not turn out how I had panned.
Trying to paint on a glaze, and wax just that colour, and dip in black was not a good idea. The one I painted on and just dipped over turned out better (the blue one on the left).
All in all, they are too small in my opinion, and they don’t look that good. I thought I should turn them upside down and put a big bowl on top next time :)
Stretched form with dark clay body (terracotta and stoneware mix), slip and other surface decoration.
I really like the deep gouging in this, showing the gritty grog filled clay body underneath the bright while porcelain slip. I think maybe the other colored slips is a little too much for this piece, but I did scrape away a lot of it with the gouging tool. I did break through the wall when I stretched this, but I patched it up :)
Bowl with coil foot.
