Used a cone 06 underglaze (Laguna - Violet) and put a blue cone 6 glaze over top. I really like how where I applied it thickly it got foamy. Usually I don’t like milky or foamy glazes, but I guess it depends :)

The carving on these cups didn’t show up like I thought, but I really like the colour anyways.

There are 4 of these, love how they turned out. That metallic look on top is amazing. It is refracting the white light, but usually looks gold.

Newest bisque ware. Goblets that were inspired by a blown glass piece, and just some other bowls that were byproducts of trying to throw goblets lol

More cups! These ones are pretty small. They are less than a cup of water each. Around 3/4 of a cup maybe. I’m not as satisfied with the colour of these as the last cup. I also prefer the curvy shape over the cylinder.

Some cups I made. First time pulling handles. The handle on the brown cup is waaaay too thin.

Anyways, paint on glaze on the brown cup, and I put too much on and it dropped and touched the kiln shelf, but didn’t get stuck :D

The other is my favourite piece this year. I was trying to emulate the design on another cup in the studio, and it turned out perfectly. I put brown slip on it before bisqueing, then when I glazed it I put wax dots on it before putting a black, and white glaze on top (Ebony and JWA).
